We have been a customer with Home Depot rental for 15 years and they now require that the General Contractor personally scan there credit card for all rentals. As a general contractor it is not possible for us to be with every subcontractor for every rental. Therefore we can no longer rent from Home Depot. Bad rule.. short sighted... I guess Home Depot rentals only want to service DYI home owners?

TOOL RENTAL when I rented the tool I had it for 36 hours. The store was only open for 4 of the last 12 hours I had it. When initially renting it, I was led to believe that I would be charged for 1 day and 4 hours. Upon return, the guy charged me for 2 whole days with no prorating or budging on the two whole days. I would have returned it when they closed the previous night if I had not been mislead about the Timing. Never again, I feel tricked and ripped off by them. I'm done with the Home Depot and this was the last straw.
