This was a great experience, we had 2 guides for our family of 5. Ricky and Daniel are very professional, and safety-minded. They were very informative of the area we were in. I would take another adventure with this company. If you have kids ask for these 2 guides they are great with kids!

Joe took 7 of us, including teenagers, to Cove Creek waterfalls yesterday to do some rappelling and it was 100% awesome. We were in great hands. Joe, and his his outfit Pura Vida, made it all very easy. He not only runs the company, but is the instructor and guide, too. Very safe, knowledgeable about the area and an adventure enthusiast with a contagiously positive vibe. Can’t recommend him and PV enough. Happy Exploring!!

Great time! Daniel was a friendly, easy-going, and knowledgeable guide. Great conversation as well! Rock climbing was fun and safe with all the gear included! Ask them about the trails and other climbing spots around Pisgah and NC. Definitely coming back to do Whitewater rafting with them

What an unbelievable experience from beginning to end. Dealing with Joe for the booking of the trip was seamless and able to all be done over e-mail. Joe gave great recommendations and was very insightful! He was also the guide incredibly professional, patient and gave great direction. My boss and his son had the time of their lives. We had an awesome time on the half-day climbing trip. Daniel was a patient, welcoming, and friendly guide who prioritized safety and fun. We have climbed in the gym quite a bit but had almost no experience climbing outside, and so we asked for something beginner-friendly. The climbs were the perfect balance of challenging enough to keep us interested but not so challenging that we couldn't do them without some effort. It would be a great trip for first-timers or those transitioning from gym to crag. We were also super impressed with the communications from Joe who was really accommodating when we got rained out on our first planned date and had to reschedule. I'm already looking at booking a canyoneering adventure with Pura Vida because they're a fantastic company that genuinely cares about giving their clients a safe, exciting, and memorable experience.
