West Marine in Brick is a well run store with friendly staff and a great selection of boating and fishing gear. I'm new to boating and fishing and I'm visiting the website and Brick location quite frequently. The store is clean, well stocked and organized. Their prices are definitely competitive, but you have to price compare and take advantage of sales. They will match Amazon pricing... only when Amazon is the seller. They will not price match for other sellers on the Amazon platform. They're my go to place for sure... especially when you want to hold an item in your hands and closely examine it before you buy it. That's very important when buying expensive gear and electronics.

Spend thousands in here all summer and wouldn't even return a bilge pump that broke 3 weeks later. They charged me 88 plus text Walmart has same one for 28. Don't go here. Worst customer service and prices. I'd prefer to just support a marina if I'm spending triple the price.
