I have had the "pleasure" of dealing with the Bridal Shoppe 3 times for 3 different weddings that I have been in now. The first time, they called the bride the day before all of her bridesmaids were coming from out of town to try on dresses and said "opps, were actually not open on Sundays"....so we had to cancel and she lost her moment of all the bridesmaids trying on their gowns. The second time, I had been measured for my bridesmaid gown and was told to order a smaller size than I thought I needed after they had measured me. I even said "Are you sure this measurement is right?" The staff chuckled and said they have girls whom have been measuring for years and have had no problems. Long story short, dress came in and would barely zip up. I went in to see what they could do and the lady that was "helping" me that day asked if "I was perhaps just feeling fluffy that day".....They sent me out the door saying there was nothing they could do but made sure to take my credit card for 165 dollars. The third time, my husband was in a wedding and had to rent a tux from them. Long story short, I stopped three times the week of the wedding and the tux was still not ready. They assured me they would call when it was ready as I was nervous because we could not pick it up on Friday and the wedding was on Saturday. NO ONE CALLED ME....Finally got the tux home and the measurements were all wrong....the jacket sleeves came up to my husbands mid arm and after paying 185 dollars, you would think they could at least measure the correct arm length. (4 other groomsman had size/measuring problems with their tuxes that weekend)....and again, they had no problem swiping our credit cards. If you are a newly engaged bride, I would highly recommend you shop elsewhere.....

I decided to go to the Bridal Shoppe for my wedding gown and my bridesmaids dresses. When one of the bridesmaids picked up their dress she didn't try it on at the store. She took it home and realized it was the wrong color! She called them and they told her they would find a dress. They decided they would go ahead and order a different dress...different color tone, complete different look, wrong size, and different length! This was all without calling and letting me know what had happened. This was less than 2 weeks before the wedding. They didn't get this new dress in until the Tuesday before the wedding. After they tried fixing the dress it was not even close! After we hesitated on what to do. She went with the dress that they ordered in the wrong color, luckily it was an accent color in the wedding! To make things more frustrating the manager was rude. She told us this was her worst nightmare and that this would work out just fine, but it didn't. She wouldn't talk to me until the 3rd time I went in the store to try to decide what we were going to do in the situation. And they didn't even give the bridesmaid a discount for all the hassle and having to drive to the store an extra 3 times!
My experience at the Bridal Shoppe was mostly wonderful. Most staff are really helpful and friendly. They offer feedback and suggestions while listening to what you want. However there was one of the staff that was not helpful while doing measurements. She was rolling her eyes and would not explain the sizing that the dress brand for my bridesmaids needed. I called later to talk to my original consultant and she was more than willing to explain things. I would definitely recommend this place to other brides.
While the bridal dress fitting part of my experience was great, we ran into some trouble with our bridesmaid dresses. We ordered our bridesmaid dresses through The Bridal Shoppe and due to some confusion and misguidance by the staff in the ordering procedures, we were charged a late fee for each dress and although we ordered in November we did not get the dresses until mid June. Our wedding was July 20th. This was a great stress for me and I did not appreciate being charged extra for a mistake that was made by the staff.
I have been into the Bridal Shoppe a couple different times to try on bridal gowns. They have always been FRIENDLY, QUICK with answers about any questions you have, and GREAT customer service! I would highly recommend them to anyone. A!!
We ordered bridesmaids dresses from the Bridal Shoppe, and had a pretty decent experience finding the ones the bride wanted. They were very expensive and we ordered them with plenty of time prior to the wedding. 2 weeks before the wedding, our dresses finally arrived. When we asked about alterations and setting up and appointment they forward us to the seamstress and she was absolutely rude! She laughed and basically said that I was crazy and she doesn't have time. I was completely mortified by her response. So first our dresses arrived late, and they weren't going to do our alterations, so we basically spent all that money for poor service. I will never go back and never, ever recommend them to anyone! STAY AWAY from the place!
