My first visit - good wood-fired pizza, but could be even better. While half the edge crust was nicely charred, the other half wasn't. The ample mozzarella was melted but only warm - I like it to bubble just a bit. The sauce was smooth and flavorful, and the circles of Italian sausage were very good. The crust itself bordered on thin but was very soft except at the very edge - I had to cut off the first bite on my plate before I could hold the rest of the slice in my hand. C'mon, Fire Engine - with a little more attention to detail you can give Pepe's or Sally's a run for their money. (And don't make me ask for the oregano. It's not pizza without oregano!)

Everything from the kitchen is great... As always the owner is a great host and always looking out for you..... however he can't be everywhere... could use a little improvement on the service staff, to easily side tracked ....By the way the specialty pies are great.. Polenta and jalapeno pie was awesome !!
Some of the best pizza I have ever had, I ordered the \loaded mashed potato pizza\ and was hooked since. Truly great place and should be ranked among some of the top pizza restaurants in Fairfield county, possibly CT. Very laid back restaurant, very friendly and good experiences.
Really loved the pizza here!! Thin, chewy crust with the perfect amount of sauce and cheese and a great flavor. I also loved the pasta fagioli and the fact that they put mozzarella in it! You don't see that too often but it was a delicious twist. Their entire menu was great and I will definitely be coming back
More than just pizza! We had the steak tips, pork belly cheesy garlic bread, margarita mozzarella pizza , and buffalo chicken pizza. If you like thin, fire cooked pizza, this is the best place to go. The crust was not a charcoal mess like some places, but the crust was crispy. The steak tip were tender and the pork belly was delish! Hot sauce is hot and spicy as was the steak tip sauce, but that is on the side. Atmosphere was nice, and with summer coming on, there is seating outside and the front doors open to the patio so you can watch the craziness of black rock pass by. Definitely a foodie location to visit. Parking is street, but doesn't cost anything.
