BrightLeaf is a diamond in the rough. They built us a beautiful energy efficient home that blends in perfectly on our Chicago historic landmark district street. I would not trust anyone else to pull this off. BrightLeaf maintains contact with us and is ready to help if any issues arise. They have a great warranty policy. Strongly recommend them for your project if you’re able to secure them as your builder.

Building a home with BrightLeaf Homes was a dream come true for my husband and me. They have a great process that helped us establish what we wanted in the new home, what our preferences, likes and dislikes were. They got to know our family and our lifestyle too, so that they could build a home that suits us best. At our kickoff meeting, the BrightLeaf team guided us through what to expect during the design and build process, and they always stayed true to that process. Their designer, Mary Kate, was wonderful with helping us finalize plans and choose finishes. She was a wonderful guide and helped us make choices that we are delighted with. So many people have remarked that they thought building a custom home would be really stressful, but my response has always been that it's easy with BrightLeaf Homes. Being able to trust in their work meant that we knew we couldn't go wrong. Brett, our project manager, was always available to us. He's an excellent communicator and always kept us updated, answered our questions thoroughly and in a timely manner, and never stopped until we were completely satisfied. Our neighbors have complimented Brett and his subs to us several times, remarking that they were always clean, polite and that the house always had someone working in it. On the day they demolished the house on our site, Scott and his crew made the day really special for my family and me. It's just one example of their dedication to their customers. We chose BrightLeaf Homes to build our house because they understand and value building science, and we knew they'd build us a house that would serve us right for generations to come. As a business owner myself, I know it can be difficult to get employees to buy into the founder's vision. But everyone at BrightLeaf believes in the company mission and lives their values daily.
