We rent a cabin every now and then to escape life and get away. It's quite, beautiful and peaceful. If your lucky you will get to see some deer running around near the entry of the park very early in the morning. The out houses kinda suck but their showers are always hot and clean!

Finding where to check in for our campsite was beyond frustrating and took a really long time. Our GPS took us the wrong way the first time. We used a different one and that one also took us to the wrong place. Luckily, there was a helpful park employee to tell us we we're in the wrong place (sign said campground, with an arrow). Checking in (once we got to the right place) was really fast. The campsite itself is large but some of the people parked right at the edge of their space and they were on a turn. Makes it very difficult when you have a 35' camper with a motorcycle trailer on the back. Lanes are one way only, which is typical of the parks we have stayed at. It seems clean. There were a lot more tents than we expected. Showers were ok. The water pressure dropped every time another shower was turned on.

Great place that’s got similar scenery to Mammoth yet is not very crowded. Facilities are well maintained and service can be found in certain places. Best of all, the trees create beautiful color in the fall season.

Nice campground, beach, and water attractions. Clean bathrooms. Not many mosquitos! Wish site was more shaded, but knew it was not when I made reservations (web site is accurate). Good bike\\walk paths, though not extensive.
