Definitely would NOT recommend. After purchasing a new gas fireplace the “professional” installer Jeff came to my house to review the install at which point tried to tell me that it would be extra 2000 for a power flow kit. After reading the install manual myself and realizing that I didn’t need it. I contacted Fireside who really didn’t seem concerned that I was being charged for something i didn’t need. Furthermore, the installer didn’t even know how to install the Smart Wall kit that I purchased nor did he even know that the Power Flow and Smart Wall kits both could not be used. Again, Fireside didn’t really care how I was treated. Customer satisfaction is clearly not important !

Charged extra charges that were part of the installing. Ended up with five different Bill's each being more expensive. Put hole in my outside siding and never fixed it. Returned calls weeks later.

Fireside Hearth and Home in Brighton, Michigan has my highest recommendation. My parents were in need of a new stove and I had taken them to several places. They had many questions and were a bit reluctant to replace their old stove. Dave was very understanding of their needs and quite knowledgeable in what the replacement would involve. He was patient, professional and compassionate. In addition, the gentlemen that came out to do the work were also excellent. They were friendly, skillful and proficient. My mother was particularly impressed with how clean they had kept everything often vacuuming up as they went along. Replacing a well-loved stove can be quite draining, particularly when moving from natural to gas. I am so thankful that we found Fireside Hearth and Home!
