I was referred to Medawar in Brighton by a good friend. Her daughter had her engagement ring made there and was thrilled with the result. I went in with my 20 year old sapphire and diamond engagement ring for a second opinion. I was told I needed one of the prongs built up. I was given a price which included rhodium platting as well. At Medawar it was suggested that I have both prongs re-tipped and the price, including rhodium plating came in less than the other jewelers. When I picked up my ring a couple of weeks later (although they had it ready for me in about a week), I was thrilled with the results. My ring has not looked that good in 20 years. Angel was so helpful and helped me look at possible wedding rings. I would recommend Medawar to anyone looking for quality work. Thanks!

I am beyond impressed with this jeweler! I am from out of town and had to get my engagement ring cut off my hand and resized. Everyone was so kind, patient, and the whole experience was stress free and lovely. My ring came back flawless and looked better than the day i got it! Their attention to detail was incredible. This will be my go-to whenever I’m in town!

Before coming, we were nervous and stressed about finding the right engagement ring. Catrine and JP made us feel very comfortable with the whole process by educating us about rings and diamonds, determining timeline for the ring, and meeting the budget that we were comfortable with. We did not feel stressed or pressured at any point. We eventually picked out the engagement ring, requested custom changes (thanks JP for the help behind the scenes!), and the ring came out beautiful! NOTE: JP makes his own jewelry such as wedding bands, bracelets, and necklaces. He made a wedding band that matched my engagement ring. It’s absolutely stunning! The wedding band is beautiful on its own! He saved us a ton of money by doing that. His wedding band is actually high in quality. It also comes with the little details that are very intricate and unique. If you’re feeling nerdy or curious about how it’s made, JP will definitely tell you all about it! Very cool stuff! We just got a custom necklace made here to match my engagement ring. JP’s design always serves its purpose. He designed it so that the necklace get enough light through the diamond to shine bright, has a simple look, and can wear the necklace at two different lengths! Most importantly, it’s comfortable. I highly recommend Medawar Jewelers! You will definitely has a positive experience here! We are coming back to get more jewelry made even if are located in another state!
