Brightstar has truly been amazing to work with in securing care for my father. Josh has walked me through the process of initiating a claim with my dad’s long term care policy. Kelly is a warm and compassionate nurse who treats my dad with dignity and respect. He values her guidance. Brightstar has been quick to respond to any questions and concerns. They were able to make last minute changes to his schedule when more care was needed following a surgery. I cannot recommend this company highly enough.

I cannot speak highly enough about Brightstar and the care they provided for my parents. My sister and I no longer live in the same state as our parents, and both Mom and Dad ended up with COVID. Dad ended up in the hospital and Mom was home alone. I think my sister and I resigned ourselves to the idea of losing both parents at the same time. We learned about Brightstar and I emailed in inquiry early in the morning, and had a call back within an hour. We had a Zoom set up for the next morning and a schedule in place to start the next day. Here's the kicker, John, the owner, and his wife, Kathy, were the two who came in on Saturday to care for Mom. They helped her with housework and cooking and kept her company and kept her spirits up. The difference between the FaceTime I had with Mom in the morning before John & Kathy arrived, and the FaceTime that evening was a full 180. The fact that the OWNER of this business will "get his hands dirty" and do what it takes to make sure customers/clients are getting the care they need speaks volumes to me. Once Dad was released from the hospital, Brightstar continued to send CNA care as opposed to Companion Care, and it allowed Mom and Dad to focus on getting better rather than how do we keep the house clean and make food and such. I only wish I could remember the names of the different caregivers who came to care for Mom and Dad because every single evening when we'd talk, my parents would just tell us about how wonderful each individual was. These caretakers weren't just there for a paycheck, they cared and it was so clear in how my parents talked about each of them and truly felt like these individuals weren't just caretakers, they were cheerleaders to help see them heal and mend. I don't ever WANT to have to call Brightstar again because it would mean something was wrong for Mom and Dad again, but if that were the case, I can't think of anyone else I'd turn to to trust with two of the most important people in my life.
