What a fantastic week's stay in A Place by the Sea on the oceanfront and gorgeous dunes of Ocean Sands. The beautiful Ocean view from the deck and large windows, as well as the ease of the 3 minute walk from the house to the ocean on the boardwalk made our week's stay in October as perfect as it could be! With six adults in the house, we had plenty of room to lounge and enjoy as well as being close to any activities you could want for the beach; biking; sea kayaking, tennis, adventure golf, or early sunrise walks! A perfect place for a perfect week!

Just returned home after a weekly rental in Corolla through this company. I am surprised by the 1 star reviews as our experience was much different in a good way. We have rented beach homes and condos from over a span of many years from Virginia Beach to Florida and so I understand that things can go wrong with a heavily used rental. I would rate our one experience with this company as one of the best. Some examples: before we left home I received a phone call from Brindley as they were concerned that the instructional email they sent for rental check-in had not been viewed by me. Very thoughtful on their part. I never expected that kind of concern.; we arrived at our rental and the gas tank for the grill was empty. I emailed and left a voice mail to get it resolved. I received a reply to both in about 30 minutes. The gas tank was replaced within a few hours while we were at the beach and a note left in the door to inform us. ; The rental was as described and clean. I don't do too many reviews but felt compelled since we had a great experience with our rental. Among the best over many years of renting.

Brindley Beach doesn't actually post customer reviews on their website, so I'm hoping this review helps others who are looking to rent with them. We stayed at Vintage Pine PI157 in Sept 2020. There were no reviews on the house when we booked, but we took a chance and the house was so much worse than I expected. This house needs ALOT of cleaning & maintenance. We’re not picky and have stayed at some not-so-great houses & I have never left a negative review.. but the only positives here were the size/space of the house and location to the beach. We were hesitant to book a vacation during the COVID-19 pandemic, but since Brindley Beach claimed to be following CDC cleaning guidelines, we decided to book. DON’T LET THEIR CLEANING VIDEO FOOL YOU. You can tell this house has gone years not being maintained properly. We Clorox wiped everything upon arrival, but we could only do so much. Aside from all the spider webs outside, mildew on the outdoor furniture, some broken outdoor furniture, etc. There is black MOLD coming from the ceiling vents, the kitchen backsplash, and around the showers.. mold takes up a picture frame in one of the second floor bedrooms.. the glass window of the upstairs master bath is filled with water and growing moss & mold. The air return vent filter in the basement hasn’t been changed in a long time, despite there being a box of new filters in the closet (NOTE TO BRINDLEY BEACH - CHANGE THE FILTER. It takes 2 seconds). Overall, very disappointed with the property. A little bit of care goes a long way.. this was our first time renting from Brindley Beach and we won’t again.
