I stopped here on my way to Olympic National Park for the view of Mount Rainer which was quite good that day! But for me the real star of the show in that area was Hoh Rain Forest and Forks, WA is such a quintessential coastal town.
The hike was very steep (10-20%) so not for your casual goer, but it's still great if you are looking to get a nice leg workout in! The end is absolutely worth it because you get an amazing view of Mt. Baker in the distance and everything west of Puget Sound (Bremerton to Mt. Walker). It took about 3 hours total round trip and it was very beautiful.
After traveling up a long and winding mountain gravel road, you are rewarded with amazing views! There are two outlooks, the North and South, it is worth spending some time at each! So beautiful, especially on a clear day you can see forever!
Place had amazing views! Glad I took the detour
