I came to City True Value for a belt for my snowblower. They had sold out but the older man working called around and found the belt I needed at a competitor's (not a True Value) store. I was really appreciative of that and will definitely return to City True Value because of it. He was very nice and helpful!

See my COVID-19 reviews for other stores in the area. First, note that the store hours have temporarily changed. They are open seven days a week from 8am-5pm. I got there around 4:15pm on a Saturday (4/25). You have to line up outside the store to wait for a store employee to come outside to take your order. Customers are not allowed inside. There are no markings or guides for customers outside, you just have to maintain your distance from others on your own. When it was my turn, I showed the employee a picture of what I wanted. He found it quickly, came back out to confirm it with me, and told me how much it cost. I gave him exact change, but when he asked me if I wanted a receipt and I said yes, he had to go back inside to get it. We did have to within arm’s length of each other for me to pay and get the receipt. Otherwise it was fast and easy to get what I needed.

I recently needed to replace exterior locks and to have my garage and back door rekeyed. Cost me less than 14 dollars compared to a lock smith. I fount the staff to be very helpful and prices are reasonable.

Im a newly separated individual and now the housework/yardwork is partly up to me. My backpack leaf blower needed help and it was going to be costly. They were so great and helpful. I rented one for the rest of the day at a very reasonable price. Not to mention the customer service at the paint section .
