Everyone was so nice and hospitable. We spent far more than we anticipated on the delicious wines. We parked on the side of the house. It was quiet and easy to get in and out. The wine-tasting was so pleasant in the yard. Everything about the experience was wonderful and easy.

Amazing atmosphere, wines and staff. Wonderful family run business. I cannot say enough about this place, the only thing is I wish I could get there more often! And this is from someone who isn't very much of a wine drinker!! They have a vast wine selection, seasonal items, and the staff goes out of their way to ensure you are having a good time.

We visited Averill House Vineyard back in February 2020 for the first time, and we really enjoyed it's quaintness. Because it's a small vineyard, there is not a huge selection of wine options to taste, but that is what also allows for them to make their wines unique, and that is exactly what their wines are. Additionally, it is a more personalized experience when being serviced. The team is knowledgeable and friendly. We hope to make it back in the summer of 2021 so that we can enjoy the outdoors during our visit.

What a pleasant surprise this place is! Just 20 minutes north of Fitchburg, MA, this slice of backyard vineyard is the idyllic place to sit outside and enjoy flights of 4 or 6 wine samples for perfect indulgence. They produce a wide variety of wines, each taste very different. There's something for almost every pallet. They have a limited number of premade cheese snacks, which would be my only critical critique, so perhaps plans ahead and bring your own favorite cheese & cracker plate to compliment the wines.
