Small supermarket with very friendly employees for the most part. Everyone is helpful. Prices are decent and meat quality is good. One important tip: When ever you buy a sale item specifically on fresh green containers, frozen items, such a dairies, yogurt ,cheeses, etc, make sure to check expiration date!!! THERE'S a particular employee, tall, skinny with glasses who is very considered and helpful with every one, specially elderly people. NICE family supermarket.

i used to love this place, but - because of the pandemic - i ran out cash real fast. after being a very good customer since they opened, i thought i deserved a little courtesy . . .boyohboy was i wrongwrongwrong!!! no, i was not allowed to purchase on credit!!! well, guess what, there are other, better grocery stores in bay ridge (met fresh and associated both have horrible produce sections and the aisles don't make any sense either: laundry needs are next to graham crackers, etc.) SO LONG MET FRESH & ASSOCIATED!!! SO LONG!!!
I'm a regular customer. However, in the past few months I've come face to face with one of the cashiers who goes by the name of Hana or Ana. She's made rude insulting derogatory remarks towards me other woman in the neighborhood who were also regular customers. But no more! Management needs to retrain their staff to have manners respect. If they don't comply. Get rid of them!
