This is the best restaurent I ever tried in NY! The service is good and food is amaizing!
Best way to see taste Morocco without the hassle of having to go through security at JFK. An easy walk from the train, run by a lovely family incredibly low prices for top notch, authentic food. The tagines, couscous seasoning are spot on. No wine, but perhaps they'd let you bring in your bottle... It can't hurt to ask. Do NOT miss the khobz (Moroccan round bread- skip the other options) the orange blossom coconut cookies.
First Moroccan good I ever had and it was delicious! Very pretty, very clean. Sat on couches with lowish tables. The lunch menu very reasonable, salad bar had salad, beets, amazing potato salad, black olives and yummy hummus. The steak kabob was good with yellow rice and veggies.
I was dying to return. Looked on line to see if they were open, sadly it appears Bab is not open on Saturday.
Incredible. This place should be charging 50 dollars a plate not 15. The food is delicious and as authentic as you'll see this side of the Atlantic ocean. The staff is friendly and the service is quick and competent. The food is prepared with obvious love and careful attention. There are daily specials every day, which you should try. Also get the Moroccan Tea Pot. Just get it. Trust me.
This places deserves more than 5 stars. Very clean , food is amazing. They should definitely be charging more.
Top notch middle eastern kebab and prices are pretty cheap. The place has a nice homey feel with very friendly staff. They also offer complimentary bread if you decide to stay. Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting this place if you're in the area.
