I usually get an acrylic overlay to maintain my growth because my nails are very soft, I was told by a friend to try SNS because it’s supposedly better for your nails. I considered just ordering the kit from Sally’s or amazon but I walk pass this nail salon ALL the time & I’ve noticed they advertise SNS in the window (my regular salon doesn’t do SNS) so I decided I’d give it a try. Monday March 19th 2018 I walked in, spent 30 on lord know what & tipped the woman even though I was NOT satisfied the went about my business. I do hair (Instagram @BY.OB) so by Friday I had realized my nails was separating for the SNS as client’s hair kept getting snagged. Somehow by Saturday night two corners managed to chip, so disappointment I did not want to go back to the salon but I had spent 30 & it hadn’t even been a full week so made my way to the salon. When I arrived the lady who did my nails wasn’t there by the owner had no problem “fixing” the three trouble nails. When he was clipping the part the was lifted her broke my nail & didn’t apologize (I’m totally over it) then when brushing off the excess powder he used a dirty brush that turned my grey nails pink (I freaking HATE pink) being as he didn’t make a fuss I didn’t say anything because I figured it would be able to file off. After filing & buffing most of the pink came off but not all, nevertheless I said thank you & left I knew I wasn’t going to return BUT I’m writing this review because at this point most of the SNS on my nails are lifting up from the bottom & as I’m doing my client’s hair this morning my nail breaks right off I had a mini heart attack because I thought I was bleeding but luckily I wasn’t. I don’t think I’d ever do SNS again but I definitely won’t return to this place.

Visited Brooklyn for a week. Stopped by this place for full set. Nail tech had no idea how to do ombré colored nails. He used acrylic powder leaving simply two tone in straight layer didn’t know how to blend and should have used polish instead. Looked horrible. Then to top it off their shop had a gray sewer RAT running around the store. Brought it to his attention and he simply brushed it off. They need to be inspected for sanitation. I wasn’t aware rats came out in broad day light. This rat looked like it was a regular. Then he charges me upwards of almost 60 bucks when he should have charged 30 for the full set. He never finished applying clear coat either.

I should have read the reviews before going here. I paid 42 for trash work. I asked the lady to relolicate exacly the nails that they have posed on their wall and it was a hugeee disappointment.....do not waste you time and money...i stayed there for more than 2 hours to still be disapponted....i told them several times that I did not want the powder anymore because clearly they do not know how to do powder...
