Really, really great food. Boiled peanuts to start were incredible - though I needed a wet-nap. Fried gator bites were the best I've ever had. I wish I could order a whole chicken fried like this guy did it...or a shoe. I would eat a shoe with this fry on it. Everything was well spiced, zesty and memorable. Really hope this place stays in the neighborhood.

Excellent cocktails, best cocktails actually. Don't know a place that serves better cocktails than Bourbon Springs in Brooklyn. Excellent spot for a date too- kinda low key but super good and unpretentious.
This place is legit for any southern food loving bourbon fan. The chef/owner is the coolest woman around and will strike up a convo with most patrons at anytime of the day. Everything is homemade and prepared with a down home passion and from scratch dedication. The cocktails aren't too shabby either. All this coupled with a cool rustic intimate feel completes the package
This is the best restaurant EVER. Everything is excellent. Staff is great. Drinks are excellent and very friendly atmosphere. Truly authentic New Orleans flavors.
Limited Menu but awesome food. Great small bites of housemade pickles and boiled peanuts. Amazing happy hour 7 days a week and service is always lovely. Check out the backyard in the summer!
Really nice, quiet place with a Louisiana/Virginia/Bourbon/Americana theme. Delicious gumbo, good cocktails. Three well-chosen drafts.
