Me and my kids enjoyed our sail and being out on the boat a lot! It was quiet and peaceful. You get to see all around the area without the hassle and noise of other options around. Ian was very nice and informative about this experience and questions asked throughout. Truly a pleasure to have went on this tour. It was definitely something me and my kids will remember for years to come. Thanks again!

Ian was a great captain and he made our experience unique. We did the private sail and got to explore parts of the city we have not seen up close and personal. I would recommend him to anyone looking to experience the city this way and will definitely be booking another sail in the near future.

What a fabulous afternoon/evening sail! It was cold, but Ian took us on a great route and we got up close and personal to the Statute of Liberty and the city skyline. We definitely recommend using Brooklyn Sail.

WOW! What a treat! I have lived in New York for ten years and have seen the city from all vantage points, but I have to say that experiencing the unobstructed views of Downtown Manhattan, gliding under the bridges, and sailing around the Statue of Liberty was incredible and a once in a lifetime experience. You truly cannot be closer to these landmarks! I have gone out with Brooklyn Sail twice now, for both a sunny afternoon and a sunset cruise. Each sail was amazing and truly unique. It is fascinating to watch the sky transform. Ian is a choose your own adventure kind of captain. The evening sail was quiet and intimate with a close friend, while the afternoon sail welcomed music, laughter and even singing! A cooler with drinks and snacks is recommended! Ian is equally knowledgable about the city and sailing, and is happy to share and engage if you are interested. As we are in the midst of a pandemic, he is also extremely sensitive to safety precautions. And what a true breath of fresh air to shelter in place on the sea!! The hustle and bustle of everything around you melts away. I would highly recommend Brooklyn Sail for sailing charter, boat charter, fun with friends and family, or a super special date!

If you’re looking for a private sailing trip Ian is your captain! We had the most amazing time in Sep - the route was perfect ticking off all the faves and Ian was a breeze. BYO drinks and food and take-off from Brooklyn was great for us - thanks Ian!!!

Such a fun way to spend an afternoon or evening. Ian is a great host, super easy going and friendly. His boat is gorgeous, clean and perfect for a group of friends looking to enjoy a sail around lower Manhattan. Incredible views and you don't have to fight a million tourists to get a great shot. I've done my fair share of boat cruises around the city and would definitely name Brooklyn Sail as #1 in my book. Thanks Ian!

Brooklyn Sail was an absolutely incredible treat that made my Labor Day so special and memorable. Ian was professional, kind, and extremely attentive during our ride. We brought our own food and drinks, and he provided bluetooth speakers so we could play our music. The boat was perfect and had more than enough space for me and my family & friends (4 of us total, but could easily fit more). The views were stunning, and we wish we could have stayed on the water for much much longer. I plan on doing more of these with Brooklyn Sail next summer - it's perfect for locals who want something different from weekend brunches, and great for when friends visit from out of town, allowing them to experience a mini NYC getaway. I highly recommend Brooklyn Sail, and I can't wait for my next ride!
