I came to this park at 8am this morning to exercise--but, I ended up becoming busy reading an information about one particular tree and learned yesterday was her birthday!️ Her. Yes, I gendered her, and gave her a grand name: Queenie A man, probably in his early 70's and with a dog, offered to take a picture of me and the plaque on the ground. I thanked him and asked him to get a bit of the tree as well___his dog came up to me when I started posing for the pic!️ This park is canine friendly. After that pictorial, I still didn't do what I came there to do---I got sidetracked by the dogs behaviors towards another!️I was like, "wow, these dogs with different owners are all sociable! I particularly enjoyed watching a black dog playing freesbee with its human, man, I'll tell you this---that dog is an expert in freesbee! And, he is joyful and silly at the same time: it would catched a freesbee, and bring it back to its human__but, doesn't let it go so easily! Sometime, the dog teases the human__he is giving it, by once the human reaches, he would turn! Really so silly I cracked up by myself! And when the owner loses patient, he would get ahold of it and him and his dog acted like they were playing tag of rope! But, once the human get a hold of the freesbee, he would throw it and his dog catches it most of the time I was watching them. The dog is a freesbee Professional The dog only misses it if he was paying attention when its human throws the freesbee unbeknownst to him. There's another dog owner who throws the ball and his dog fetched it and drop it in front of him️ much like the opposite of what was going on with the black dog. I also notice, them dogs are really focus: they know their own ball. None of them run after another ball thrown by another owners. And, just before I leave, I was in for a surprise of a life time: a baby tree became a toilet to three dogs! The park is so big, and yet they decided to pee in one particular tree!

Still, a place for the community. Young and old, a little bit of sun is always a good thing.

Very happily stumbled upon this park! The basketball courts were pristine. It was uncrowded. Big lawn for picnics, games ,etc. Skate park and spray ground. Was either recently renovated or extremely well maintained. It's now my go-to outdoor spot in the neighborhood.

Always clean. Good for play and areas to just read a book and have quiet time on the benches at the periphery..

Impressive effort to curb the spread of covid-19. The level of dedication to keeping customers and the community safe is incredible after learning of the 2hr play sessions and deep cleaning disinfecting that is being exercised between sessions. Great work and effective plan in place
