I didn't use their services. My review is based on my attempts to try and use this place. Emailed, they responded within 12 hours. 3 weeks later decided to pop up because it’s the closet to my house compared to other darkrooms in the area. Checked google maps for the hours of operation. Said 6-9. I show up at 6:21 & they were locking up. Door says hours are 12-6pm. Told me to leave the film for drop off outside. I personally am not a fan of this.

This is a wonderful spot with friendly staff who will help you out with anything and everything film related!! Great facilities for rental — one of the only places left in the city with a color processor — wild Quick and professional film development and scanning services as well.

Super easy and accessible! I did a contactless drop-off of my film in their mailbox and then they emailed me my film. Highly recommend.

This review is only about their developing services. If you want a roll developed and scanned, it costs about 20. This includes 8x10 tiff scanns. The first roll i dropped off, took over a week to get back because I left it in their mailbox on the building and they straight up don't check their own mail box. I got my scans by dropbox 3 business days after I went there in person to inquire about my film culminating in the clerk having to open their mail box, where surprise surprise, there was my film i had dropped off over a week ago. I ended up leaving them 3 rolls to develop and scan, and the scans have so much dust on them, not to mention their hi res is not very high. For the same price, I will be going back to my usual Chinatown spot, where 20 gets me flawless 16x20 scans with my developing service. I can't speak to their darkroom services, but for developing, it's not worth it. Your scans will come back looking poorly, if at all lmao. For the same price you can go to Bleeker, KM, Color Lab, or Adorama and pay less money for faster developing, with higher res cleaner scans. I have scrolled through all the reviews and this is an ongoing issue. I cant wait to see the owner's reply to me. If they really cared about photography why would their scanner be so hecking dirty? I am going to have to pay another lab to clean these negatives and rescan them for me. don't waste ur money here!
