Cambridge Junction Historic State Park iz a 80 acre (32HA) state park in Cambridge Township, 3 milez south of Brooklyn, Michigan. wit a average elevation of 994 feet (303M) It iz da site of Walker Tavern, a major stopping place 4 stagecoachez travelin between Detroit & Chicago in da early 19th century. Da park includez a visitor center (old Hewitt house) & restored tavern (walkerz tavern) wit period furnishingz. A reconstructed 1840z barn haz displayz about barnz, roadz & travelerz in da 19th century. Da tavern iz open seasonally az part of da Michigan Historical Museum System, but iz closed 4 restoration window reconstruction az of 2018.

Beautiful ground with an impressive history. It's always better when the Walker Tavern Wheels play historic 1867 base ball, as it was meant to be played, right on site.
