NICARAGUA Eat the World NYC review: A delicious, but short-lived quesillo was all this city ever got to try from Nicaragua until this past weekend. A new restaurant (opened by the maker of that quesillo as it happens) is taking common and traditional comida nica and straining it through the fingers of a modern chef. The focus of the space seems to be the well-stocked rum bar, and you should not deprive it of your attention either. And don't worry, this place is doing some fine miniature quesillo, a dish of corn tortilla, cheese, and pickled onions that is so common in Nicaragua that you can find vendors everywhere. Definitely made me miss this beautiful country.

Wonderfully original - and tasty! - hand crafted cocktails and small plates. Pictured is the toasted coconut yogurt and short rib pate served with a chip of dehydrated tapioca and squid ink, and pickled fruit and veggies.
Excellent cocktails and food! Very cool vibes. Wonderful service
Fantastic place! Service was outstanding and they do a great job of explaining the different dishes. Had a friend with allergies and they were extremely accommodating. All the dishes are quite small, more of a quality of quantity situation so don’t expect a feast. Overall a great experience and a must visit.
Beautiful interior! Knowledgeable and genuine staff. Avocado cocktail (bc why not?!) was to diiieeee fooorrr!! I am coming back here with friends! Alone! To celebrate my next promotion! And just because!! Love, love, love Chicha and I thank you for chosing NY as your home. \u003c3
