Without a doubt the best gym I’ve ever been to. There’s a friendly welcoming atmosphere with no egos, they welcome people of all levels. They have everything you need to meet your fitness goals and the coaches are incredible. Cannot recommend it enough.

Class One is an amazing place on so many levels! For anyone looking to grow their martial arts skills (and meet great people) there's not many places that offer this variety of classes mixed with such high-quality instructors. Muay Thai, boxing, BJJ, wrestling, MMA and more are taught here, and all the coaches brings their own unique style and expertise to the game. On top of that, it's a great place to stay in shape, the people are friendly and welcoming, and everybody treats each other with respect and no ego. I'm lucky to have been a part of this community for a little over 2 years, and highly recommend it to anyone that is hesitating :) Whether you're a beginner, or someone with more experience, there's definitely a place for you at C1. Come check it out!

Coming here was one of the best decisions I ever made. You never feel like you’re working out because it’s always so much fun and you’re constantly learning. Every class is going to be different so it never gets old. The instructors are top notch so you know you’re getting the best mma techniques. I used to have to convince myself to go workout and it always felt like a chore. Coming to Class One was always the highlight of my day and I something I looked forward to. I was really intimidated and it took me some time to finally walk in and take my first class, but everyone was really friendly and helpful. You gotta start somewhere and being a beginner was no problem. I’ve taken classes as well as personals (with coach Ken & Yorrick) here for 2 years and I went from being a total beginner (never taking any martial arts) to fighting in the ring twice. I’ve never been much of an athlete so this is a true testament to how amazing the coaches at this gym really are. Besides being an epic workout (you’re going to sweat) there’s also a great social atmosphere. Everyone acts like one giant family and supports one another in whatever goals they’re working on – whether it’s working to get better or prepping for an upcoming fight. I’ve met some of my favorite people here and there’s always new folks coming in that continue to make the gym a better place. Hands down, this is the best MMA gym in NYC.

This gym has been my home for the last 2 years. I've trained, learned, and even fought MMA matches through them. If you're looking for a welcoming environment, legit training and great coaches. Give them a visit! They have a great 2 week trial. ;)

For very 1st timers the one day trial is 25. Classes included all levels from starters to professional's. Groups for the class are large. Parking sucks in that area if you bring your car. Recommend Train, Uber or Bus to the area.
