I know when you're going through an awful experience and end up dealing with a third party involved that are supposed to help your family at times I could say it's very difficult trying to see the any good they do because they follow protocol that most times it seems like it's not gonna benefit us as single parents. It's true some workers are very young and try to impress their supervisors and want to make an impression. I know that when they have to deal with an ACS worker they are definitely supposed to be on your side but most are friends and the only side that matters its theirs we as single parents don't get a break. I could say I had a terrific worker she was a bit younger and didn't have kids but she helped as best as she could. I got lucky in the end after everything was almost done with and even though she had to follow what her Superior forced her to do she came through and I was glad I had her in my side. These services used up be good but now all you have are women that want to impress they superiors and that's really messed up. Everything that's written in paper and end up in their office its written by a person that writes what ever and it makes us parents look like we aren't good parents... All that is written in those files stay in those files and no one can remove any thing we stay looking like we are the worst parents in the world to any one that reads the reports that happens to be not true about some parents. This organization should be better like it used to be but now its also deals with foster parents which they all act like we are guilty of being bad parents even if we go in voluntarily we can't win... Not with this place sad to say the small amount of good workers that work on here will not be notice when you have the ones that act like ACS workers instead of a worker that supposed to back you up. They got worst at their job, they should get back to the way they were.. they were really good when they started.

Be aware, do not sign up for services with this organization!!! I signed up voluntarily. They started collecting information. Asking me where is my kids, what you doing, did you take them to hospital, give me proof, get letter from hospital, they called to daycare, school, doctors offices, every single place just collecting information about my family. They don’t really help. I used to have other social workers who really helps, who will sit with you and help to write letters or filled up forms, give you referrals. Not this organization. So I decided to quit this sessions about nothing. And now they harassing me - No, you have to meet me 2 more times, you have to write letter that you don’t need services, we have to have meeting, I didn’t see your kids 2 times I will call ACS if you will not let me come. Awful experience. Do not sign up. They don’t help. They just waste your time.

Edwin Gould for children and family services is perfect for destabilizing family’s. They aided the kinship foster mother in kidnapping my two young children while i was employed and discarded me like i was a drug addict and a abuser. With out any consolation for my own emotional being, i was inprisoned and indicated as a child molester with pending court judgement to terminate my parental rights. with no money or any legal aid i’m forced to partake in non existent osi from acs. i’ve been given many different workers with the newest worker being younger than i actually am. Modern child welfare laws are meaningless by way of hearsay from disenfranchised children of resourcesable foster mothers with a income. It will take years to reinstate the job i lost as well as the children for it seems i gave them all away to Edwin Gould . Horrible standards are practiced here, with older god fearing women running the playing field . No care or comfort to reunite with your family here . Only accusation and who can afford the children better here.
