I was pretty disappointed by Greg’s Trees on Green St in Greenpoint. Pleasant and helpful staff - however, a worker offered me a 4ft tree for 50 (I explained I was on a budget) and told me we had a deal... 5 minutes later he told me sorry no can do, his boss says it has to be 79. Again, nice enough staff, but poor management and unreasonable prices. I was ready to walk out of there with a tree until you suddenly upped the price 20 on me.

Expensive, but friendly and professional. Had what might have been the last four trees in Brooklyn. Def saved the day. I'd go back.
The people were good but they are way over priced. 140 for a Fraser (pre tax). Go down the street to the place on Union Ave and Meeker they’ll give it to you for 70.
They're wonderful, they really care about getting great trees and have a wide variety and were so helpful to make sure we got the tree we wanted at a good price. Good luck Greg!
I have lived in Brooklyn for about six years now, and have seen so many changes as of late around the neighborhoods of Brooklyn. The one thing you can always count on in a traditional sense is the heavenly smell of Christmas trees during the holiday season. This time last year I came across Greg’s trees. They have one full block filled with everything one needs to get through the cold weather in NYC. Before and after work you can always count on that smell and overall Christmas experience that makes your heart and soul happy. The best thing about my experience at Greg’s Trees besides the biggest bundle of smell good trimmings(because I had zero room for anything else in my apartment) was a great conversation with a handsome tree man who is now my best friend. Things happen in unexpected places, and in this case I walked right into my own Hallmark movie. If you want a beautiful tree, wreaths, trimmings..or organic conversation with awesome people..Greg’s is the place!️ -Emma Jane
