No frills and absolutely delicious! The portions are fantastic for the price. It’s hard for me not to order lunch from Guacuco everyday.

I had the Leo's arepa (suggested by the waitress, good suggestion!) and the Pabellón arepa! It was delish! The cocada is sooooo good! Dangerous but good!

We will be back for the empanadas. They were flavorful, fluffy, and delicious. The arepas, which seem to be their main offering, were mediocre. The corn was dry and they were overall unsatisfying. The one redeeming ingredient was the pulled pork, which was smokey, tender, and delightful. The sauce brightened up everything. We couldn’t get enough. Overall, we’re happy to have this place in the neighborhood. Thanks Guacuco.

This place is great for many reasons. The food is superb. My former roommate, a Venezuelan, always sang the praises of this place for nailing the recipes in an authentic way. And for me, not knowing the taste in Venezuela itself, I can say that the food is just very, very good. Generous, flavorful, satisfying. The staff and owners are lovely and warm.
