Excellent wine selection and delicious food. I've been there on several occasions and tried pretty much everything on a menu, every dish is a winner. Highly recommended.

Even though the menu had plentiful options, many of those were not available, don't know whether it's poorly managed, or meant to lead you towards specific dishes, but having more than 3 items on the menu not available is a little shabby as it forces you to settle. Mixed drinks do not exist in this place, cranberry and vodka is as complicated as it gets, but at least they know they can't mix and don't even try. Prices were on the high side for the area, which is probably the reason why the restaurant was empty. Prices were reasonable if you expect steakhouse prices. Crab cakes were a little fishy, asparagus was flavorfull, wasabi mashed potatoes were delicious, Porterhouse steak was good, however as we shared the steak we both came to agreement that most of the steak was cooked medium well, whereas we order medium. Nevertheless the steak was devoured as it was delicious. Even though i particularly don't care for the type of entertainment which the restaurant presented most of our party seemed to enjoy it. The entertainment was Russian / E. European music mix of dance and slow songs, the singers were probably the better of most i've heard in Russian restaurants. The entertainment did not work well as i did not expect this restaurant to be a Russian restaurant.

make believe french decor unlike any french design encountered before. food quality uneven, presentation inelegant, service attentive but unskilled, wine vastly overpriced: russian restaurant pretending to be something else, 'nough said. dholtkamp
