Wow, I am in love. Seeing Mia for acupuncture for my birthday was a wonderful experience. She has such a graceful and knowledgeable energy, and I felt very welcome. I met Mia at a community gathering, and booked an appointment with her right away. My appointment was in the the Yoga Tribe space which is very cool. I love the vibe, and attended a Reiki Meditation class at MINKA before my acupuncture appointment which is a really good idea. It had been a few years since I had an acupuncture treatment, and my standards are super high. Mia totally exceeded my expectations. She is an excellent listener and provided a holistic assessment of my needs, exercise suggestions, and a painless and relaxing use of the needles. I drifted in and out of sleep for an hour and then floated home. I can not wait to see her again for more acupuncture and cupping!

I have been going to Lefferts Community Acupuncture since its inception. I have had treatments from all the practitioners so feel confident saying you are in good hands! When I was pregnant I went twice a week to whoever I could so I feel like they helped me bring my baby into the world and Mia helped a lot during that time & post partum with her empathic care. Lately I have been going to Tagan. He spends the time to make sure he is addressing whatever issue you are facing and incorporates cupping and even massage into his treatments. He also follows up to see how I am doing and is a pleasure to work and talk with!
Leo is AMAZING! I have had Acupuncture from several different people and Leo is by far the absolute best! When I go to him my neck is stiff and traps are sore and tight then after treatment I feel so relaxed. Yesterday I was full of anxiety and couldn’t even turn my neck. After the treatment I was relaxed as if I took a Xanax and this morning my neck was nice and loose I could finally turn my head! Lefferts Community Acupuncture is truly a blessing!
