Marteal is absolutely AMAZING - I could write a book about how incredible she is but I'll try to limit it to a few sentences :) Loulette was my very first wedding dress appointment and I’m so grateful that was the case because Marteal made everything so relaxing, calm, and easy. My friend stumbled upon one of her unfinished designs in the corner and Marteal let me try it on. I fell in love with her vision and she ended up naming the dress after me! She ensured the dress had everything I wanted and made the process so simple. Our original wedding was postponed due to COVID, which of course caused a lot of stress and anxiety. Marteal was so calm, professional, and flexible - she was the one vendor I didn’t have to be worried about. Although we postponed the reception, my husband and I decided to still get married in an intimate celebration. Even during a pandemic, Marteal made sure everything was ready and in order and that I had my perfect dress on our wedding day. Although postponing sucked, I am so freaking happy that I get to wear my Loulette dress TWICE! You will not go wrong with Loulette/Marteal. She is so incredibly talented, kind, flexible, communicative, and I LOVE everything she stands for / how she uses her voice for good. I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with her.

Marteal at Loulette Bride is such a bright spot in the chaos that can be wedding planning. My wedding was in winter, and I was dying to find a velvet wedding dress (harder than you’d think). After falling into a Pinterest rabbit hole one night, I found a photo of one of Loulette’s dresses, and decided to look through the site. I was shocked when there it was - the perfect white velvet wedding dress! Marteal is so sweet and wonderful to work with. I tried on no fewer than 7 beautiful dresses, but finally decided to get a custom gown (one of her designs but in velvet). When the time came to pick it up, it wasn’t exactly what I had been hoping for, and she bent over backwards (one week from the wedding!) to make sure it was perfect - all with a smile and without a trace of annoyance or making me feel bad. I so wish more people would find out about her! On top of all of that her studio is beautiful and looks like it’s straight out of an Instagram post. It is a little hard to find though - for anyone going there, go through both sets of doors, then immediately to your right you’ll see an elevator. Take that up to third floor, make a left, and you’ll see the lovely pink door to Loulette :) thank you so much again, Marteal!!!

This designer is amazing and pretty much the nicest person ever! I am happy to refer her to everyone I know! She is a local Brooklyn designer and I am relieved to have had such a lovely lovely experience in her showroom! Thank you Loulette Bride for your great sense of style, humor, and vibes! Xx

In addition to being a talented designer, the owner Marteal met me with positive energy and SO MUCH kindness. Marteal is patient, has a great sense of humor, and worked with me creatively to find the perfect dress. Outfitting me was not *actually* an easy task, but Marteal made it seem easy, and she made it easy on me. It was an extraordinary customer experience AND you get to support a local business with a transparent supply chain. Don't even bother making appointments anywhere else. Thank you Marteal!

I had such a lovely experience at Loulette Bride! Because it's appointment only you have a unique opportunity to work directly with the designer, learn about her craft and play dress up. I felt so incredibly special trying on some of the most beautiful gowns I've ever seen. I appreciate the sustainability and thoughtfulness of the service and product of Loulette Bride. Highly recommend!
