I came here knowing exactly what was expected. The famous milk bar pie, formerly known as “crack pie,” was 6 U.S. dollars for a piece of concoction that fit in the palm of my hand. With that said, You gotta get one or two slices for yourself, there’s no sharing. This tiny wonder of humanity packs a punch of flavor the size of the Empire State Building.

Compost Cookie was really good. I’d even warm it up if you can. Peppermint Bark Shake was delicious!
Not gonna lie, I expect a bit more. I got a cappuccino and my Friend got a milkshake. It's a bit overpriced and didn't taste that good. The cappuccino tasted like regular milk with coffee and no foam whatsoever. The milkshake was really hard to drink. I expect a bit better but the workers were nice.
Cake was dry and stale. Cookies were good. But one of the cookies was not the cookie I ordered, so make sure you check your bag before you leave.
4.5 stars, rounded down because the amazing Levain bakery should keep its crown as the best bakery in the area. Let’s get one thing out of the way: the desserts this place offers are INCREDIBLY indulgent, to the point where it quickly moved from delicious to cloyingly sweet after having more than one dessert here. None of their desserts have the subtle mix of flavors you’ll find at Levain bakery, which costs it a star. But their cake and pies are incredible for that first few bites where the full intensity of the sugar and salt mixture hits you, and their cake truffles are perfectly sized and not super expensive for the price. Overall I’d definitely recommend this place!
