Only thing better than vegan food is ethnic vegan food. The music so good. The vibe so chill. They had a big line which is a good sign. I got some baked goods. They were sold out of the Jamaican patty. The ginger muffin has chunks of ginger inside. The lemon zest loaf has chunks of lemon zest inside and on top. Both are a little dry. You definitely need some water or a juice. They sell sea moss shakes here. The kitchen smells good. The people behind the counter are so fun and lively. I got my two baked goods and sat at the window snacking and charging my phone so I could take photos and write my reviews of the Brooklyn vegan scene. I’ll definitely return for a patty. It seems like a big hit.

The X-Perience

My 2020 Birthday X-Perience Since this restaurant was in her neighborhood. my Sista-Friend Crissi invited me to dinner to celebrate my birthday (10/27). When I arrived, we were exccourted to the backyard space. We were skeptical at first to sit outside in October. COVID-19 restrictions did not hinder our x-perience. I felt like we were lifted out of Brooklyn and into a nice private quiet space. I was SURPRISED to see \3\ of my closest friends walking outside to join us. Our Waitress Shanique was AMAZING, she made us feel like we were the ONLY guests dining at the restaurant. The food was total deliciousness. You would not know it was VEGAN. Lots of variety and totally authentic Caribbean food. The Owen & Leighton were AMAZING! I would strongly recommend this restaurant. The service outdoor ambiance delicious food choices were AMAZING.

I absolutely love this place. The food here is amazinggggg. Came here for breakfast one morning. I ordered the cake and salt fish and the vegan waffles. I haven't had vegan waffles ever and these were better then regular waffles! The fried bake was delicious as well. They also have vegan patties that are a must try. The lentil is my favorite. Staff was friendly as well. There is a little wait for food. I will definitely be back

Some workers there are very unprofessional. One girl started to make my shake then walked off to take other orders and left my smoothie in the blender as if I wasn’t waiting at all, she had the worst attitude. I asked her about an ingredient in my drink and she gave no response. Management please filter out these folks who have poor customer service and no people skills. The wait to get a drink made is ridiculous.

I loved this place the first time I went, but then I noticed that the women working there aren’t wearing their masks properly. They cover their mouths but not their noses, that defeats the purpose of wearing the mask in the first place. I will not be returning ever, nor will my friends, family or their families and friends. Their negligence during a time of a pandemic is not excusable especially for people who work around food. This is disgusting and I hope they either get the proper training or find other people that understand how to wear a mask properly.
