The drivers are completely unprofessional. They side swiped me and didn’t even bother to stop. Now they won’t take my calls. Save yourself the trouble, don’t do business with this company.
When I first read the reviews on here I almost decided to change contractors but I have to say I am totally and pleasantly surprised I’ve never seen men work harder or be more conscientious. I actually saw one of the workers move the joint thing they put in several times until it was totally perfectly straight!
Awful! Started work at 7:20 am. We have two babies and they started using a jack hammer at 7:20 am. Also they let our neighbor who works for national grid leave their cars parked but made everyone else move. Also after parking in a clear zone last night put two cones in front of my car but left the neighbor who works for national grid leave their car parked next to mine with no issue. Tried calling several times but no answer and dead end voicemail boxes. Just awful! The city has no consideration for the public! I understand you have a job to do but showing preferential treatment is not the way!
I'm here to report the unsafe driving one of New York Paving Inc's drivers, at around 5pm today at the corner of Third Ave and 41st Street in Manhattan. I know the picture is a little hard to see, but hopefully this plus the location can help the company identify the driver. I also didn't see any kind of identifying number on the vehicle. This pickup truck had a long trailer hitched to the back, and chose to keep driving through a red light as pedestrians had the right of way, blocking the entire crosswalk (and then some) and forcing pedestrians to walk directly into traffic, which is extremely dangerous. When I confronted the driver about his reckless driving, he and the 2 other men in the truck laughed at me. The driver claimed that it wasn't his fault, he was just following traffic. He forgot the part where drove through a red light. He could have stayed where he was and not blocked the way of pedestrians, but he put his own needs before those of pedestrians. It's hard enough to walk in this city without jerks like him. If NY Paving sees this, I would hope that someone would teach this man how to properly drive so that his driving doesn't cause someone serious injury, causing him and the company to get sued. What's especially hilarious is that the vehicle has a Safety First sticker on it. Guess this driver doesn't know how to read his own stickers.
