Lack of communication and then given an attitude when I kindly asked a question. Not sure if this person was having a bad day but there was no reason to take it out on a customer. As for doing what I needed, it was done in a timely manner. The woman in the front directing the line was very nice.

I came to the Optimum office twice this month and have been waiting in the line for 1,5 hours, and was still unable to get inside. It was freezing outside and the line wasn't moving due to the fact that not all representatives were serving people. The rest were probably having their lunch, not caring about people waiting outside. Many people ( elderly, families with kids, working people) had left the line including me, because they cannot wait such long time for nothing. Optimum administration, you gotta do something with that because it's not right, it's not professional and it's unacceptable!

On the day of my 1:00 pm visit, it was a little cool but tolerable in the sun. On arrival, the line was long. With social distancing in place, the line was along East 45th Street, then a right turn along the store property then a left before entering the store. My hopefully conservative guess is that more than 35 customers were ahead of me. I was on the line about 65 minutes before I entered the store. Recall that the day was not too cold...choose your visit tine carefully.

Optimum has a monopoly over brooklyn and mistreats it's customers, using any means to get an extra dollar out of them or defraud them while providing unreliable service. Just another example is the long lines to return equipment. See pictures. Additionally the security guard was extremely rude and snarky to customers.
