Glad to see them thriving during the pandemic. Hard to believe, our first time there was on Valentine's Day this year. The place was packed and it was such a vibrant atmosphere. So many people waiting for a table... So they came around with a tray full of free drinks (I think it was schnapps?) for everyone waiting. They were all friendly and accommodating. And the pierogi was great! Who could've known what was to come? We've gotten takeout from them a few times since and they're just as nice and the food is still excellent.
I Love this restaurant and I used to come very often as I work nearby. Before COVID-19, the environment was amazing and the service was great. I am happy that this restaurant was able to survive through the tough times of COVID-19! Everything tastes amazing and I love the food. I would recommend the food to anyone, but during the past few times, the wait for the food was very long! I blamed the delivery from the apps I ordered from, but I have visited in person recently, and the wait time was extremely long! This long wait turned me away, as I sat there waiting for my food, and I saw no interest from the server. After such a long wait, I expected the food to be amazing, but when it arrived, I was disappointed. The taste remains splendid, but the look was unappealing. The food did not look aesthetically pleasing and it did not make me want to eat it! I really want to love this place, but the food presentation makes me rethink my love for it.
