Very tasty, the guy behind the counter was great. I had the pulled turkey. Amazing. The kale and baked beans are delicious. Even the corn bread was good.

Pulkies was really great! I grabbed their meat & three meal with pulled turkey (great idea!), kugel mac & cheese (also great idea!), sweet potato mash, and cucumber salad. It came with a nice hunk of cornbread, and I ended it with their cinnamon babka bread pudding. Sat at the counter with a Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray soda and chatted with the staff who were very accommodating. The turkey was a great mix of shreds and chunks, and covered in their sauce that makes you feel like you are at a thanksgiving barbecue. Loved the kugel mac so much that I'm going to try my hand at recreating it at home. Sweet potato mash was delicious with the crunchy rosemary-walnut streusel situation, and the cold cucumber salad was the perfect contrast and compliment to pull you away from the rich flavors for a minute and get you ready to dive right back in. At one point they gave me a sample of some brisket that had just finished in the kitchen. When I say that it literally melted in my mouth, it literally did - and I'm a very harsh judge of bbq living in Texas. The cinnamon babka bread pudding with bourbon toffee sauce was everything you look for in a dessert, and tasted like Cinnabon opened a Jewish bakery. I will say that my favorite item was the cornbread. It was the lightest, honey buttery-est thing I've ever eaten. Needless to say: the next time I am home again for a visit, I'll be making a stop at the Dekalb Market Hall. Well done Pulkies.

Just found Pulkies today! I demolished a Meat & 3 and had to stop myself from going back to try other menu items, haha. The sweet potatoes are a must-have. Absolutely loved my platter, and Nick is a supercool guy Fast, friendly service and really great food!!!

Well I didn’t even get to try the food. Came looked over the menu made eye contact with one of the workers. Proceeded to wait several more minutes with nothing not even a greeting, a “I will be with you in a a moment”.Absolutely nothing, so I left. I will not spend my money at a place that can’t even manage simple service industry etiquette.
