Adore this place, the curation is unmatched - gorgeous clothing, always smells good, the staff are beautiful and kind. Prices are reasonable if not affordable for what you're getting - major vibe check. Love how they put 100% into everything they do, I love the Break!

Some of my all time favorite pieces came from The Break. The prices are expected and it doesn’t feel like they’re ripping you off (like most NY thrift stores). This is a great place to shop if you are trying to build a essentials-only wardrobe and minimalize your closet. Sweet local gem that’s fun to visit frequently.

The Break has perfected a rare equation in retail in that it doesn’t feel like a retail store at all. The product is relevant and fairly priced, but the sense of community they’ve created is immediately paramount upon arrival. I’m consistently greeted with warmth and genuine interest from every employee I’ve met there (many of whom I’ve even become friends with).

Looks like there’s not a lot of clothing when you walk in but actually there’s a wide selection of vintage clothing. It’s set in a sleek designed space making it easy to really see the clothes for what they are. Charlie was working that day and made the whole experience really fun. I found more than expected. Thanks!
