“Chicken restaurant” indeed. Delicious roast chicken sitting in a bed of it’s own salty-sweet juices, served with a simple selection of sides by a friendly and warm staff. Several wine options. Tomato salad pictured was seasonal and on-point. Perhaps one of those, “I can probably make this at home” or, “what’s wrong with a store-bought rotisserie chicken?” dilemmas. Both fine options but nothing beats an atmosphere.
Fun, lively spot for great food and good wine selection. Seating is first come first serve basis, but you can order food at the bar if you find a seat there. Quite popular means quite busy, and at times it was hard to get the bartenders attention. The whole chicken really was amazing (get the white sauce), as were the cooked greens and fries.
Incredible chicken - I dream about this. They have a fabulous bar to sit at as a casual walk in - a wonderful bar to get a drink, a bite to eat with a friend, or even just to walk in and have dinner with yourself. Great cocktails and wine list too. Don't skip the potatoes!
When you only do one thing....you better do it right. This place does not disappoint. Perfectly roast chicken. Well executed cocktails. Welcoming staff. Highly recommend.
