Teresa Solomita is an extremely smart, personable, and passionate therapist. Everyone who knows her enjoys her company - she is super easy to talk and an excellent listener. We often collaborate on cases, and I refer to her a lot. We met at a Modern Group Psychoanalytic training program over 4 years ago ,and she has become a trusted colleague. I promise, you can't go wrong with Teresa. She is highly skilled and attuned individual, couple and group therapist/analyst. I highly recommend her!

As a counseling intern at South Beach Psychiatric Center, I had the excellent fortune of being assigned to Teresa Solomita, who was a supervisor at the time. Being a good supervisor requires, not only counseling experience and wisdom, but also all of the skills that are necessary for effective counseling: interpersonal skills, patience, compassion, curiosity, understanding, and likeability. Teresa has these qualities in spades. Teresa did a superlative job of balancing teaching and encouraging autonomy - guiding me through the interning process, while at the same time helping me to develop the skills I needed to find a way that worked best for me. Her supervision was of such value to me that once I began my own practice, I continued to seek out supervision from her. On both a professional and personal level, Teresa has taught me a great deal and has also served as an inspiration for me to pursue my dreams and make choices that have greatly enriched my life.
