This is the third time we have used United Decorators. Paul and his staff do excellent work at a reasonable price. Previously, they did our window treatments throughout our apartment. The measurement was perfect. The choices we made with Paul's expert help look wonderful with our decor. This time we used United Decorators to reupholster our dining room chairs. We chose the fabric from a large selection of books. The job was completed quickly. The chairs look wonderful and are truly comfortable. Again Paul's staff was excellent, knowledgeable and efficient. We highly recommend United Decorators.
We had two chairs upholstered by United Decorators and they did an amazing job. The upholstery is perfect, it was incredibly fast, and they even fixed a few nicks in the vintage chairs AND made us two throw pillows from the left over fabric.

I can attest to the quality, responsiveness and pricing issues because I've worked with Paul and United Decorators to reupholster first a large living room chair and then a modern sofa. The results were superb in both cases. The living room chair required working with a fabric specifically designed to fend off the bad intentions of a cat. To help protect the work done on the chair, United Decorators also made separate arm protectors. They turned out to be an excellent idea. The sofa in the den was more of a presentation project than a reupholstering. We wanted to keep the shape of a modern piece while preserving its mid-century style.
