I'm gonna be fairly honest about my experience with this school. I went to this school at the beginning of the Pandemic and I was excited about getting accepted into the program. I was looking for a career change but I felt like the six weeks was indeed a waste of time and not enough time to learn a specific topic. I just hate those programs that promise to help you find a job once your completed , they send out your resume to employers and half the time they don't even get back to you all because you lack experience. My advice to people who want to go to this school is go if you have prior experience in the Cabling Industry, if you don't it will be harder for you to find a job once you complete the program. Don't believe the promises they tell you, they won't keep in contact with you after you finish the program.

I was very disappointed to know that through many efforts, being ambitious, being the most punctual, giving 100% thorough participation, sending in homework on time, constant communication with their entire team, that I wasn’t selected as a candidate for their networking program. It left me with a lot of doubt about their hiring process and what kind of people are selected. I wasn’t given a reason why I wasn’t selected, I was sent an email with advertisements and links to other programs that have similar selection processes, and there was absolutely no support after the selection was made. If you could give negative stars I would.

I went here a few years back. I was treated very poorly... The young lady at the front desk was very dismissive, very austere, and the other workers there just stared at me with completely blank expressions. I asked a few questions and was not given any concrete answers. It also seemed to me like I was bothering the young lady. It was a very negative experience, overall. This was at a time when I could've used some help. No degree, no stable income... I sent in an application and never heard from them. It has left such an aweful impression in my life that I refuse to watch anything put forth by MadeinNY... Honest to God truth... Very hurtful experience.
