Yes it's a little tight for semis but any driver worth their salt can get in and out of here no problem. Pulled in shortly after 3:30pm and plenty of parking. Awesome view of South Sister and Mt Bachelor in the distance when not obstructed by cloud cover. Not a bad place to kick your feet up and call it a night. The Cafe down the street does close at 3:30pm and is closed Tuesdays and Thursdays

Unique and isolated... vault toilets. Clean though.

It's a good rest stop I didn't go into the restroom so I can't comment about that but the view was pretty good and there were little critters running around it was a good spot to stop.

Stopped in the use the bathroom at 7 am. The guy picking up trash had a fresh pot of coffee on in the maintenance shed and cheerfully offered me some. It was about 15 in the predawn light, I had already been driving for an hour and was not fully awake yet. It made my morning and was much appreciated. Really nice desert vista as well, especially in the early morning with the frost still on the ground. 10/10 that guy should get a raise.

3 Cell bars & 7 truck spots. It's only deep holes in the ground without the stench of porta potties and a cool breeze coming up, but it is well needed and well kept. No running water though. The scene is serene all around.

Its handy when you need to stop, trash is usually full. (Saw a coyote in daytime getting into trash cans). Usably clean. Not too well lit at night.

I realize it is probably less money to upkeep the rest area with out houses, but I miss the nice lawn and real bathrooms this rest area used to have. However, it is still a good place to get out and stretch the legs when traveling.
