Brand new cat to 299D with 60 hours Is setting beside the road broke down. I called in they told me if they could not have the issue taken care of within 24 hours they would issue me a Loner machine. Mechanic came out the next day said that the DEF manifold Needed replace. But its on Backorder. And now they say they do not have a skid steer available for me to use while mine is down. And now they say they do not have a skid steer available for me to use while mine is down. A company as big as Mustang cat Doesn't have a skid steer. I would say someone is lying to me. If the issue is not resolved today I will be contacting my lawyer Glenn C.

Great employees, will do what they can to get you going. Upper management in Houston is HORRIBLE and is NO HELP in problem resolution... they will dangle the carrot in front of the mule so to speak... lead you to beliwve they are going to help ypu but in the end they will do NOTHING... they also cover their tracks well and will give you NO email or written proof of the things they Promise to do, and the lie and say they never said that or give you a vague statement that is really open ended. I bought 2 Cat 299d XHP and they have BOTH spent ohalf of their lives in the repair shop. One machime stayed in the shop for 7 months and was STILL NOT FIXED when I got it back. They sold me the machines as Forestry mulchers and they obviously can NOT perform the duties yhey were designed to do. MANAGEMENT did nothing to help me with the repeated problems... the problems still exist and this has been ongoing for 3 YEARS. I have retained an attorney I hope I can get a resolution.
