BST Hobbies is a great store especially if your new to trains. The staff at the store has taught me a lot and made me an avid collector. I have been doing business with them for over 2 years and I have never had any issues. They sell good quality used items as well as repair and restore older trains. Mick is a great guy to do business with. If you buy something and there is a problem with it he will make it right.

Mick is truely a service oriented and a first rate individual. I had him look at a train engine which would barely run, he oiled it with what he called "miracle juice" and it came alive. I tried to pay him for his service and he just said, "No way... Merry Christmas." I will tell everyone I know about him and his shop. Thank you Mick, I would have never know to do what you did!

As some of the others said, I was a little skeptical about going to BST but I'm glad I did!! Great bunch of friendly folks and I left with two bags of stuff. Possibly my new favorite store. And thanks to Kirk for all his help even when he was trying to eat lunch!!

The place is permanently closed, however this was one of the best train stores I feel like I have ever been to, with so much selection as if it's a train show without everyone else there and high prices. I got so many fantastic deals from this place, it hurts me to see it gone and all we are stuck with is Caboose again.

Great store. I found for my new layout almost everything what I need for very good prices.

While on vacation from the St. Louis area, I decided to check this place out. I will admit, I had reservations due to the negative reviews. But, once I got in there, it was friendly and I found lots of goodies to leave with. While most of the stock is used, it's very nicely priced. Unlike the junk back home, or on eBay, where used stuff is normally higher than comparable new stuff. In short, if you like sifting through boxes and boxes of stuff (I live for that sort of thing), then this is the place for you! That specific item you've been looking for is more than likely there. tl;dr: Great place, check it out!

Mick and his team are running a top notch shop that is quickly becoming the best alternative to Caboose Hobbies in the Denver Metro Area. BST's business is growing, and they're doing a great job keeping up with the growth. Mick's dedication to the model railroad hobby, and it's support goes well beyond just running a retail store.

Absolutely the worst! When Mickie screws up, you're the one who will pay. Owes me 1672 for undelivered trains.
