Wonderful people who own the place and live there. Our cabin was very nice. Doesn't seem like a 'resort". Not much to do but that was probably just the time of the year that we went. You will love Angie - and it was southern hospitality at its very best

We've used them for our family reunion 2 years in a row. This year they had a lot of much appreciated upgrades. I would like to see the cabins cleaned a little better between guests. We had a lot of cobwebs and dead bugs behind furniture, under beds, and in the bathroom. My only other disappointment is very minor, because it doesn't really stop us. I'd prefer to have better access to swim in the lake. We typically go in where they have their boat launch, so it doesn't stop us.
Great water access for swimming!
Absolutely amazing. Our cabins back porch looked out over the lake, shaded by a huge tree, quiet but lively. The owners treat you like family, as do the permanent residence. It's all smiles and waves. My family has never felt so welcomed on a vacation. We will definitely be back!
A great place to stay for one night or more. The cabins are right on the waterfront & the view is beautiful especially at night. Cabins are very clean & come with anything you would need if you will be staying for a vacation. There is a swimming pool or you can swim or fish in the lake. There is plenty of clean linens & a kitchen full of cooking & eating utensils. The owners are very nice & are right there when you need them. I have stayed at Edgewater several times & will definitely be going back.
Close to the lake. Nice people. Good place to be.
