Excellent cultural center. on Sundays before covid there was a full street fair with the best Thai Food in Dallas. I also attend the Adult Thai lessons on Sundays, they are free but it only seem right to make a donation to the temple.

Beautiful temple. Great Thai food for lunch on Sunday.

I visited during the Thai culture festival (which as I am writing this on Saturday, it will continue into Sunday). Very nice location with a great setup for the community. I mostly came for photos of the temple because I am interested in learning about Asian culture and religion, and have visited a Hindu temple as well, and plan to visit another Buddhist temple sometime in the future. The food looked impressive during the festival though I had already eaten prior to checking the place out, and this would probably be what many people would be introduced to, and had I stayed longer (my tendency is not to stick around places much even though I would have liked to) some very elaborate dance rituals and music displays were also planned. The scheduled time was early afternoon to early evening, and is probably best suited for people that are gathering with those that socialize in such a community to get the most out of it. You can print out a schedule online and plan around that.

The most authentic Thai foods with so many variety on the spot. They open usually on Sunday afternoon and so crowded till you won't be able to find place to sit. We have been trying all their foods. We sometimes can listen to their traditional music if you want yo learn their culture.

Inside and outside, the Buddhist Center of Dallas is aesthetically and inspirationally superb. The two-day Thai Festival in May is a wonderful time to visit and experience Thai culture.
