The food was good, but they didn't have miso soup. It was just a chicken broth that tasted like it was made from chicken bullion, and the sauce tasted a little different than many other Japanese steak houses. I do appreciate that they seated one party at each table, so I gave a good tip. The food is good overall, and I would recommend it to others.

Staff was extremely rude and disappointing upon entry. They felt the need to talk negative about patrons while they waited. Not a great way to start a meal. Of course the hibachi master was beyond nice and very entertaining! Food was ok...not the best we have had at a Kani house. Weird thing was...we all felt sick to our stomachs about an hour after...cold sweats & headaches all the sudden. Over all pretty much left a bad taste in our mouth & on our mind. Would not go back to this location. Sad being mall of Georgia location. You would think they would have this at least a 3 or 4 star joint. I would suggest any of the many other options around to drop the big at.
This place has been our spot for birthdays since forever. 2 years ago I moved to downtown Atlanta, my kids still want their birthday dinners act kani house. Definitely worth the drive!
