I drove an hour away to buy a Janome from Matt and Wendy instead of clicking a button on Amazon. My experience here is exactly the reason why I no longer use Amazon. Matt and Wendy are wonderful people who are passionate about what they do and sell. Purchasing my sewing machine was a happy and memorable experience. I was welcomed into the shop with warmth, treated as a guest and spoken to like a neighbor. What did I get for my drive and time?: A very informative tour of the machine A gentle, clear and patient demonstration Unhurried practice time for myself Assistance finding and selecting what I needed for my upcoming class Registration of my warranty Explanation of maintenance service The same or better price as online sellers Absolutely zero pressure Made me feel like a valuable customer More valuable than all of the above was meeting and spending time with two genuine kindhearted fellow humans. I am so glad I bought my Janome machine from Matt and Wendy. They made buying a sewing machine a happy afternoon. I certainly look forward to returning.

This store is a real treasure hidden in the countryside of Bunn, NC. Wendy and Matt are super helpful and can answer any questions you have especially about Janome's (they are an authorized dealer) or any project you are thinking about jumping into. They not only have great machines, adorable fabric, useful notions...they also offer service excellent service on any of your machines. I'm so glad we too the back roads that day and discovered this gem.

This was a great find on our way home from Nags Head! My best friend and I found this and decided to stop in on our way back home from the beach! The owners were very kind! I picked out a fabric and decided after it was cut that I liked something else better and she let me get the other fabric and told me she would put the one she cut into a fat quarter so I could get the one I really wanted. I will definitely go back to their shop if I'm in that area again!!
