Spoke with Randy a couple of times and he was so helpful we asked for him to be our delivery driver. He assessed where we needed the 3 yards of crushed rock, how best to maneuver backing of the truck all the way up the driveway and expertly distributed the rock as much as he could to minimize the amount of work required to spread it out. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and we will definitely be using Burien Sand and Gravel when we need rock for our next project.

The guys at Burien Sand & Gravel are great! I had a large yard project and was having challenges with landscapers, so I decided to do it myself with the help of a friend. I placed three different orders for gravel, rocks and cedar chips. They helped me arrange my orders so that each coincided with how I needed to do the work. They accommodated me without a fuss when I had to change the dates because some things took longer to do than I thought. They gave me some tips to help the process, and dropped off the gravel closer in my yard to where I needed it so I wouldn't have to work so hard. They were so kind and truly helpful. I wish all businesses were this way. I would definitely recommend them, and will go back again.

I paid for 2 yards of garden soil in February and had it delivered. I was told it was 30% compost and 10% sand. I filled two new raised beds with it. Nothing grew in this soil. I ended up digging it out and replacing it. The soil they delivered has such a high content of clay and sand that it cannot support plant life.
