This place is so good that I want to give it 1 star so less people go to it... Just kidding. Butter chicken on point. Great prices, great portions, everything we ordered was fantastic. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Best Indian restaurant in Burke, hands down.

This newly opened Indian restaurant in Burke is a Gem. Delicious Indian Dishes; Friendly Staffs; Convenient parking. It is in the complex with the Walmart.
The staff at Raaga Tandoor was friendly, helpful, and efficient. It being the age of covid, I had to get takeout, but the space looked clean and well-kept. The menu has good coverage of the basics of Indian Tandoor cuisine, so you can probably find what you're looking for. I ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. One thing I don't expect from Indian food is to be bored, but this had so little spice, it was more like just lamb in cream sauce. The lamb was reasonably tender, but not "melt in your mouth." The rice was a little dry and again, boring. I think they must have really toned-down their spices for the American market, but the result is almost a betrayal. If I get anything from here again, I'll be sure to order it spicy. A fellow Burke resident told me that the Goat Curry is really good, so I'll probably try that. Given the professionalism exhibited by the restaurant itself, I expect they are able to give me what I'm looking for. I'll just have to be specific that I want it considerably more spicy than their default setting.
Visited yesterday for the first time. Will definitely be returning! They are doing a great job of taking extra precautions to keep customers safe and prevent the spread of Covid.
We ordered delivery on Christmas Eve. What a wonderful surprise! The food is fresh, delicious, generously proportioned, fragrant, and worth every penny. I am so excited to have found this gem. We will be ordering again soon, and one day we hope to visit in person. I highly recommend.
Raaga tandoor has great food and very professional customer service. Highly highly recommend for indian food in Burke area.
We love love love this place! My 2 and 7year olds get so excited when we order from here! So far we haven't had an entree that was bad...it's so hard to pick what to order when everything is so tasty!
What a gem to find in our neighborhood. Look forward to the day we can come in and eat in the restaurant, but for now; they were very efficient handling takeout, even though there were plenty of us picking up. Will absolutely be back!
